"Crack and the Box"
Amber Wooten English 1013 Composition 1 Sy Hoahwah September 17, 2003 “Crack and the Box” is a very interesting story written by Pete Hamill that compares the addiction of crack to the addiction of watching television. I firmly disagree on Hamill’s thought process about the comparisons of these two totally different things. Where he came up with this strange comparison is definitely something that would be interesting to try to understand. His main point is to make readers believe that watching television is practically the same as doing crack cocaine.
