Car Accidents
Car accidents are one of the main causes of death in the United States. Last year car accidents contributed to over 350,000 deaths. As a matter of fact, as the car population grows bigger; the risk of getting in to a car accident is even more extensive. There are many reasons why vehicular accidents happen, but the most important reasons are do to maintenance problems, driver’s distractions, inexperience of the driver, speeding, and driving while intoxicated. One major cause of vehicular accidents is do to maintenance problems. Many drivers do not realize that it is very important to maintain the car constantly. For example, if the brakes are in poor condition, the driver will not be able to come to a complete stop; consequently, an accident will occur. Also, if the tires are worn out, the driver will not be able to adjust to changing road conditions; such as unexpected rain or curves in the road. This will cause the car to slide off the road or collide with other vehicles.
