Heaven and Hell: My Views VS. The Church’s Heaven and hell is an extremely controversial and an unable to be proved topic. Many people have their own views on the subject, as well as religions varying. My views have been formed over time by other opinions I have heard, and some of my own adaptations. The Catholic Church’s view on heaven and hell has greatly shaped my own views, but also differ in many ways. I believe in a heaven where everyone is always happy. I am not sure how that works exactly, but I think that everyone is free from the worries that plague the earth and the souls can be free. When I think of heaven I think of pretty colors and flowers and of course puffy clouds. I think that everyone knows the truth and the answers to all their questions. I believe people figure out all the reasons for everything they want to know. I think that everyone’s heaven is different, because heaven is perfect. Everyone’s idea of perfection is different so everyone’s heaven has to be different. I think that maybe some people will be like the eternal life ocean, or some people like the eternal life mountains. I think that anyone can see anyone else though and visit God or whoever else they’d like to. I think that since heaven is an eternity, living without the souls who are on earth would not seem like very long at all. I think that the souls in heaven might not even have to be without the souls in hell that long either. I think that our lives on earth are so incredibly short in comparison to forever. I do not understand how a single fraction of time of one’s life can cause an eternity of misery. I feel that hell is only a temporary place. I think that after you realize how bad you were on earth in hell, you can go to heaven.
